As a pugnacious attorney whose ambitions kayo his own marriage, Tom Selleck demonstrates a magnum of talent in this convincing, poignant and sometimes nutty TV movie. Jane Curtin, as his wife, and Charles (Hill Street Blues) Haid, as a frustrated ex-husband, are also excellent.
