Picks and Pans Review: Chicago Story

Attempting to rejuvenate its moribund Saturday lineup, the network has come up with this frantically bewildering police series, starring Maud Adams as an emergency room doctor and a cast of cops, robbers, hookers and hostages. The drama's clumsy pileup of plots is reminiscent of Hill Street Blues but not nearly as effective. (Premiere)
