Remember Night of the Lepus, the hilarious 1972 horror movie in which giant rabbits bounded about trying to nibble Janet Leigh? Remember ex-President Carter's valiant stand against the crazed bunny that tried to storm his boat in a Georgia lake in 1979? Bordin, a Philadelphia cartoonist, obviously does; he has perceived the evil that lurks in the hearts of our floppy-eared friends and has sketched 80 pages of rabbits doing things like drinking a toast to crime, attacking broccoli and trying to look innocent ("This bunny didn't see nothin' and don't know nothin' "). He may well do for rabbits what Kliban did for cats. (St. Martin's, $4.95)
