Are you, like, into getting, like, mellow? Taking it, like, easy? Maybe sitting around on a spring day with a couple of good friends and getting a buzz on? You're environmentally responsible? You dig the old Eagles stuff? Here's your minstrel. The general tenor of David's tenor is languorous, but he can rev it up a few notches for upbeat tunes like his catchy '65 Love Affair or Motownish Love or Let Me Be Lonely. Davis, who comes from Atlanta, isn't likely to startle anybody with stylistic innovation, but his songs are pretty and real, like, likable.
