NBC (9-11 p.m. ET)

In this adaptation of Edgar Allan Poe's 1839 mystery, civil engineer Robert Hays, accompanied by bride Charlene Tilton, inspects friend Martin Landau's inexplicably crumbling mansion—only to find that Landau and his sister (Dimitra Arliss) are cracking up faster than their walls. The casting is as bizarre as anything Poe ever dreamed of.
