It's not clear in this adaptation of John and Maureen Dean's memoirs which is the bigger crisis: the Watergate burglary and its cover-up or the stormy relationship between Dean (Martin Sheen) and his blond-bombshell wife, Mo (Theresa Russell). But the eight-hour, three-part miniseries (concluding Thursday) grippingly re-creates the scandal. Rip Torn (again) has a memorable turn as a conspiratorial Richard Nixon. (Repeat)
