Loosely based on the 1954 movie musical, TV's new weekly hoedown stars Richard Dean Anderson as the eldest of seven orphans living on a Northern California ranch. He shakes up his siblings' lives when he brings home his new spouse (Terri Treas). This new series risks the same fate as Debby Boone's recent Broadway version of Seven Brides: instant annulment.
