HBO (11/6)

Broadway's erstwhile Dracula, Frank Langella, assumes the role of a character with less sanguine tastes. With co-stars Stephen (Tales of the Gold Monkey) Collins and Susan Clark, he matches wits with Professor Moriarty and loses his heart to his client in a twist that might make Basil Rathbone wince. Will Holmes collar the culprits in this richly produced but unsuspenseful Williamstown Playhouse production of an 1899 drama? That, of course, is elementary. (Subsequent air dates: 11/8, 11/10, 11/14, 11/18, 11/22, 11/28, 11/30)
