Picks and Pans Review: Standing Room Only: Sherlock Holmes
Broadway's erstwhile Dracula, Frank Langella, assumes the role of a character with less sanguine tastes. With co-stars Stephen (Tales of the Gold Monkey) Collins and Susan Clark, he matches wits with Professor Moriarty and loses his heart to his client in a twist that might make Basil Rathbone wince. Will Holmes collar the culprits in this richly produced but unsuspenseful Williamstown Playhouse production of an 1899 drama? That, of course, is elementary.
