All About Eve goes to Nashville in this well-acted, energetic TV movie about a tuckered-out country music queen (Loni Anderson in a Dolly Parton wig) befriended and schemed against by an ambitious young rival (Linda Hamilton). Earl (Police Woman) Holliman is fine as Anderson's rumpled, affable husband-manager, while cameos by Barbara Mandrell, Boxcar Willie and Lynn Anderson help capture the country music capital's colorful atmosphere.
