Picks and Pans Review: James Brady

Even before he was wounded in an attack on President Reagan in 1981, Press Secretary Brady was no moviegoer, "because of campaigns." Still, he's watched a lot of TV lately and picks CBS' Civil War epic The Blue and The Gray as 1982's best viewing. A fan of things country, Brady enthused about the Nelson-and-Jennings LP WW II: "You can step out on that." Brady named Dan Jenkins' Baja Oklahoma as a favorite book; another was Lou Cannon's biography, Reagan. Says Brady, "I guess Reagan is my favorite subject."
