Picks and Pans Review: Carol Burnett

UPDATED 12/27/1982 at 01:00 AM EST Originally published 12/27/1982 at 01:00 AM EST

Burnett, who starred this year in Annie, often shows her print of the 1946 Frank Capra movie classic It's a Wonderful Life, her all-time favorite. New this year to the Burnett record collection is Lena Home: The Lady and Her Music, the sound track from Home's one-woman show. Carol often gives friends copies of her most prized book, The Initiate, an anonymous spiritual tract. Burnett saves all her criticism for "horror films, which have no regard for human life or sensibility."
