Peter Boyle, Gene Wilder, Madeline Kahn, Cloris Leachman and the late Marty Feldman romp through the most controlled comedy in Mel Brooks' nutcase oeuvre. Best scene: the monster and his maker "Puttin' on the Ritz" in white tie and tails. Repeat.
