Viewers may find themselves doing just that after watching only a few minutes of this contrived tear-jerker. Deborah Raffin stars as a woman who, after abandoning her husband (Tony Bill) and infant daughter (Ari Meyers) 12 years before, returns to New York on business (she's an interpreter) and attempts a reconciliation. Despite the superficial resemblances to Kramer vs. Kramer, the weepy-eyed overacting and the unlikely plot manage to rob this TV movie of a single believable moment.
