Burt Reynolds plays a good-ole-boy trucker (CB handle: Bandit) who's chased by the cops (CB code: Smokey) halfway across America and back when he tries to smuggle 400 cases of Coors from Texas to Georgia. Sally Field co-stars as a fleeing bride-to-be who comes along for the ride in this enormously profitable 1977 romp, as frothy and mindlessly fun as a barrel of beer. (Repeat)
