The scriptwriters should be sent packing for this laughless comedy. Richard Benjamin and Paula Prentiss play an L.A. couple who, after losing their jobs, grab the kids (David Hollander and Molly Ringwald) and move to Oregon. They discover life in the wilds is no bed of clover, even with co-star Tony Roberts as a neighbor. Despite good actors, this is a predictable, pointless and mean-spirited TV movie.
