All in the Family meets West Side Story, sort of, in this laborious new sitcom about a narrow-minded WASP (McLean Stevenson) whose son elopes with the daughter of his Hispanic next-door neighbor, Luis Avalos. Julie Carmen and Mark Schubb play the young couple caught up in this shrill trade-off of ethnic insults, which might be better titled Battle of the Network Bigots. (Premiere)
