Paul Le Mat and Mary Steenburgen are perfect in writer Bo Goldman's underrated 1980 movie about the Nevada gas station attendant who claimed he was named in billionaire Howard Hughes' will. Jason Robards' rendition of Bye Bye Blackbird during his small part as Hughes is another highlight.
