In this Memorial Day special, the Peanuts characters get a history lesson as they tour France. The highlight is a trip to the beach at Normandy, where Charlie Brown and crowd pay tribute to the Allied troops who landed there in World War II. Cartoonist Charles M. Schulz based his script on personal experience.
