Picks and Pans Review: The Gates of Hell

Anyone yearning for another glimpse of Christopher (The Rat Patrol) George? Anyone think it would be really neat to see a young woman vomit up her intestines? Anyone turned on by the idea of seeing a young man drill-pressed through the head? No? Well, for anyone else, this sickening, lame-brained film about another of those nights when the dead come out of their coffins would be an inexcusable waste of time and money. This little bit of excrescence was directed by Lucio Folti, with a largely European supporting cast whose lines have been badly dubbed in English. (R)
