This new daytime drama created by Agnes (All My Children) Nixon and Douglas Marland (former head writer on General Hospital) premieres as a nighttime TV movie. The plot focuses on a murder mystery. TV anchorwoman Merrill Vochek (newcomer Patricia Kalember) investigates a killing on the college campus that is the setting for the new town-and-gown soap. Kalember collides with the charismatic university president, played by John Shearin. Lloyd Bridges and Geraldine Page have guest-starring roles in the kickoff thriller. The daytime action begins on June 27. With Nixon's record of incorporating topical subjects, viewers can expect some controversy on campus.
