Centuries ago in Japan, members of the Ninja clan were trained as professional spies for feudal lords. Their specialties were martial arts and masterful disguises. This TV movie has as its hero a modern-day art dealer who secretly practices the ninjutsu arts. He must rescue a group of top-secret scientists who are being held captive by international terrorists. The plot is improbable, but Michael (The Warriors) Beck is impressively mysterious as the Ninja, and the adventure film is sort of a thinking man's kung fu movie.
