Now here's a new concept: A series about "two old-line families—the Chadways and the Duncan-Mortimers—whose destinies are bound by complicated pasts and constant corporate struggles," according to the network. Oh well, if anybody can pump life into this battered formula it might be General Hospital Veteran Gloria Monty, who, as executive producer, moves lusty intrigue out of the emergency room and into Long Island's posh playground of New York's beautiful people. Leigh Taylor-Young (the second Mrs. Ryan O'Neal), Bibi Besch, John Reilly and Michael Goodwin star. The show airs for five weeks.
