Stephen (Tales of the Gold Monkey) Collins and Kathleen Quinlan are young lovers who are injured in an automobile accident. The man's mother takes advantage of the tragedy: Mom pays for the woman's plastic surgery in exchange for a promise to end the affair. Thus, the nifty title. Co-starring in this hopelessly sappy 1979 feature film are Beatrice Straight and Laurence Luckinbill.
