Director William (The French Connection) Friedkin couldn't decide whether to make a car-chasing caper or a quirky comedy out of this disappointing 1978 film, based on the true story of a gang that successfully raided a Brink's truck in Boston in 1950. Peter Falk is the genial leader of the gang, which includes Warren Oates, Paul Sorvino and Peter Boyle as bumbling sidekicks. (Repeat)
