Anthony Quinn is a Basque guide during the Nazi Occupation of France who attempts to save a famous scientist (James Mason) and his sick wife (Patricia Neal) by spiriting them over the Pyrenees to Spain. Hot on their heels is Malcolm McDowell, an SS officer who sports a swastika on his athletic supporter. Give us a break.
