CBS (10-11 p.m. ET)
Gil (Buck Rogers in the 25th Century) Gerard is cast as a cop-turned-restaurateur in this unpromising pilot, set in New Orleans. There's mayhem on the menu when an old police crony comes to Gerard for help in solving the murder of four stewardesses who were roommates. The Creole atmosphere helps, but Gerard, though serviceable, is too much of a blah as a Blue. There's not enough here for a second course.
