This sitcom about a woman trapped in a mid-life crisis likewise traps comedienne Madeline Kahn. As Madeline Wayne, Kahn is bored with her 10-year-old marriage (to husband James Sloyan) and tries tofu, exercise and other cures short of extramarital activities. The series tries to be trendy, but it's breaking no new ground. Oh, Madeline, you've disappointed us. (Premiere)
