ABC (9:30-10 p.m. ET)
Ken Howard and Carlene Watkins bring a light touch to this comedy of modern manners about a divorced couple who live across the street from each other. Unfortunately, the young actors who play the kids of their marriage (and her remarriage) suffer under the worldly wisecracks spoken only by kids on TV Still, it's a good new series with excellent potential.
