Picks and Pans Review: Policewoman Centerfold

NBC (9-11 p.m. ET)

Melody (Manimal) Anderson is appealing in this confused TV movie, based on an actual incident about a New York City policewoman who was fired when she posed for a nudie magazine. Anderson is depicted as a naive romantic, an image that seems inconsistent with being a cop, even a small-town one. The harshness of the real story seems buried in this glossy production.
