Picks and Pans Review: Agatha Christie's a Caribbean Mystery

With her sensible shoes and sly intelligence, Helen Hayes makes a delightful Miss Marple in this TV movie. Marple checks into a tropical hotel where, naturally, there's murder under the sun. Maurice Evans, Season Hubley, Swoosie Kurtz and Barnard Hughes provide able support and intrigue. So many suspects are introduced that things become confusing at times, but common sense and quality casting ultimately triumph.
