Southfork sweetheart Linda Gray escaped from her Texas trauma drama long enough after Thanksgiving to catch the Gay White Way's hit musical La Cage Aux Folles. She brought along son Jeff, 19, who is working as a TV production assistant in L.A., and daughter Kelly (right), a 17-year-old high school senior. Also on hand was loathsome Dallas Lothario Larry Hagman, who arrived with his wife, Maj. Larry ducked out, but a publicist took Linda backstage after the show. "The cast went wild," says the flack. "Most celebrities who visit rate about three on a scale of 10. She was definitely an eight or nine."
Americans in Paris
Having basked in the warmth of her success in The Big Chill, JoBeth Williams, 34, has bundled up for a crisp autumn's filming in France. The actress is shown neck-and-neck with her 42-year-old co-star, Tom Conti, on the set of American Dreamer. The stylish spy thriller, in which Conti plays an English playboy and Williams a Walter Mitty housewife, is scheduled for release next year. Besides being photographed against such romantic backdrops as this one on the Place de la Concorde, JoBeth will avail herself of some of the local designing talent—Claude Montana, Karl Lagerfeld, Givenchy—for her movie wardrobe. Call it The Big Thrill.
