At 25, Michael Jackson is a little young for a lifetime achievement honor, but indeed, Diana Ross is presenting him with this year's Award of Merit. The recipients for all the awards were selected by a poll of 20,000 record buyers throughout the country. This is the 11th annual such affair. Broadcast live from Hollywood, the ceremonies feature Lionel Richie as the host.
