In this spin-off series from the 1981 theatrical film about middle-aged Manhattan couples, Jack Weston repeats his role as a hypochondriacal dentist. The new twist is that Weston moves to California. A bachelor real-estate salesman (Tony Roberts) and a UCLA orthopedics professor (Barbara Babcock) are among his new friends. In the first installment Alan Alda (co-producer of the series) repeats his role as Weston's best friend. (Premiere)
