ABC (9-11 p.m. ET)

Like Something About Amelia, the TV movie about incest, this one tackles a major social problem. The subject here is rape. Kathleen Quinlan stars as a college professor who is assaulted on a business trip by three of her colleagues. The movie shows how difficult it is for a woman to prove that she had sex against her will with men she knows. Even Quinlan's own father (George Dzunda) doesn't believe her. After she presses charges, the story tiptoes away from the issues it raises. David Huffman, Jeffrey Demunn and Rip Torn are her attackers; Jane Alexander is a sympathetic police investigator.
