Angela (Mame) Lansbury has a high old time of it playing a wheelchair-bound dowager in this comedy-mystery. She's a wealthy mystery writer whose numerous children and grandchildren (the greedier of whom are conniving to put her away) join her for a birthday weekend. When one member of the family winds up getting killed in a fashion reminiscent of the plot of Lansbury's latest book, it's whodunit time for real. Laurence Olivier, playing Lansbury's faithful doctor, also contributes to the stylish, entertaining fun.
