Some notable events to watch this week: On Wednesday (8-11 p.m., 11:30 p.m.-12 a.m. ET), men's giant slalom and double luge—go-carts on ice. On Thursday (7:30-11 p.m., 11:30 p.m.-12 a.m.), men's and women's figure skating and men's giant slalom. On Friday (7:30-11 p.m., 11:30 p.m.-12 a.m.), women's slalom and the ski-and-shoot biathlon. On Saturday (12:30-3:30 p.m., 7-11 p.m., 11:30 p.m.-12 a.m.), women's figure skating and men's ski-jumping and speed-skating. Finally, on Sunday (12-5 p.m., 7-11 p.m.), men's slalom, a figure-skating exhibition, the closing ceremony and the hockey finals, with commentary from Mike Eruzione, captain of the miracle 1980 U.S. team. And not a word from Howard Cosell.
