In her fifth variety special, the sex symbol with the chipmunk cheeks sings the blues (which is a little like McDonald's trying to serve soul food), shows hokey home movies and even dredges up smarmy kids' fan letters to Wonder Woman (sorry, Lynda, but your series was canceled in 1979). Here, variety is not the spice of life, it is the tranquilizer.
