CBS (Mondays, 9 p.m. ET)

Susan (McMillan and Wife) Saint James and Jane (Saturday Night Live) Curtin return to the tube in a sitcom about two women sharing a home with their three kids. "Divorce?" a gentleman asks Jane. "No, thanks," she says, "I already had one." In the premiere Jane goes out for the first time since her split-up. It's "the worst date since Bonnie met Clyde." She bores him ranting about her ex ("The man I loved is pond scum to me") and then finally says, "So, David, tell me a little about yourself." He says, "Check, please." The laugh track is a bit hyperactive—too bad, since there are enough funny lines (most of them Jane's) to make the show work without that. This program has promise.
