Cloris: No skoals barred
Edward Asner, in his role as president of the Screen Actors Guild, took it like a man when Cloris Leachman (a Mary Tyler Moore Show colleague) subjected him to a bit of gentle ribbing at SAG's 50th-anniversary festivities at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium. Leachman slipped into the breach to (carefully) raise a glass to the erstwhile Lou Grant, and the outspoken Asner seemed to accept her tribute in stride. Here's looking at you, Ed.

Barbra's beau?
Barbra Streisand may have been overlooked when it came time for handing out the Oscar nominations, but she attracted her share of attention when she arrived at an American Ballet Theatre benefit at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. Claiming that these days she is "playing the field," Yentl's yenta sashayed through the evening on the arm of a new man—Richard Cohen, a Beverly Hills businessman who split from Frank Sinatra's daughter Tina.

Hawaii-Sly: Oh!
That wasn't just any half-clad dancing girl who wriggled up to Sylvester Stallone, 37, at the Honolulu airport. It was wife Sasha, 32, offering Sly the Total Woman welcome. She was rendezvousing with Stallone after his "long, tiring trip" to Hong Kong, location-scouting for his film Rambo, and Sasha "thought he'd welcome this." Bedecked in a red Tahitian grass skirt and a bra fashioned from shellacked coconut shells, Sasha did a grassdance that elicited a "great" from the gratified Sly. And from Sasha: "I always do crazy things like this."
