Picks and Pans Review: How Many Angels Fit on a Tv Set?

UPDATED 04/09/1984 at 01:00 AM EST Originally published 04/09/1984 at 01:00 AM EST

Two of Charlie's former Angels wing back this week: Farrah Fawcett stalls out in The Red-Light Sting, a TV movie about a brothel, and Jaclyn Smith flies to the rescue of the eight-hour miniseries Washington, the first of a slew of minis (many historical) in the making. A preview: ABC will air The Last Days of Pompeii and The Mystic Warrior during next month's sweeps, and it is working on James Michener's Poland and Texas. CBS has Robert Kennedy and His Times, Christopher Columbus, Ellis Island, Michelangelo, Michener's Space and Judith Krantz' Mistral's Daughter in the works. And NBC will deliver the sequel to V and The First Olympics next month. That's four minis in one little month. Start stocking the fridge.
