Hounsome, a British rock expert, made some peculiar choices in this cross-indexing of the personnel on about 40,000 record albums. Kenny Rogers, Willie Nelson and Judy Collins are here, but Barry Manilow, John Denver and Anne Murray are not. Let's not quibble. Where else can you check out who played percussion on Wild Man Fischer's 1970 album (Frank Zappa) or the real name of Root Boy Slim of Root Boy Slim and the Sex Change Band (Foster Mackenzie III).
