Another reason to start the Coastal Anti-Defamation League. This one is set in Southern California, where sun-worshipping kids all have beautiful bodies and fried brains. Newcomer Julianne Phillips plays a kid who dreams of becoming a lifeguard (instead of what her mother wants her to be—a doctor). She gets her wish, and so do the producers—they get to dress her up constantly in over-stressed bikinis. (That's the only concept, high or low, in this show.)
