Here's the second and biggest week in the new fall season—premieres aplenty, a miniseries, a comedy special and more. The networks are still fiddling with their schedules at the last minute. ABC just switched its premiere of Paper Dolls, reviewed last week, to Sunday, Sept. 23. Jessie, reviewed below, fills in the Sept. 18 slot vacated by Dolls. Three new shows were not available at press time, though they will be reviewed shortly: NBC's Partners in Crime, with Loni Anderson and Lynda Carter (plus ex-Miss America Vanessa Williams in the premiere), and CBS' Cover Up, with Jon-Erik Hexum and Jennifer O'Neill, are two jiggling justice shows that debut on Saturday, Sept. 22; on Tuesday, Sept. 25, ABC premieres Three's a Crowd, the reborn Three's Company, with a wife and father-in-law replacing John Ritter's roommates. Even without those shows, there's plenty to preview.
