Baron wastes no time getting to the plot: Johnny Cash plays pool. "I was a hard-core hustler," he bassoons, "booze, dope, women, the whole nine yards." Now he's a good guy, and he runs into another hard-core hustler, played by Greg Webb, who turns out to be the son Johnny never knew he had by his ex-wife on the show (his real wife in real life), June Carter Cash. Johnny decides to teach the kid a few lessons like: "The cue ball knows, boy. The cue ball has your number." That's what fathers are for. Of course, they come to win each other's love and respect and a few tournaments too. It's all about as fast paced and exciting as a pool game.
