This year the genre has spread out like the bottom of a sedentary non-aerobicizer. Most of the 10 books reviewed below by Gioia Diliberto are by celebrities and focus on how to achieve more or less instant glamour. Unlike most of history's poets and artists, these professional hunks and cuties claim that beauty is both definable and available to everyone, regardless of age, sex or bone structure.
