Britain's Princess Anne, who once wanted to be a truck driver, took that fantasy one step further when she got behind the wheel of a 52-ton Chieftain tank during Royal Army exercises in West Germany. From her face—and those of her mates—it's clear that we are very amused.
Is Bill Cosby, onetime college track star, thinking of making a comeback? Hardly. The now somewhat robust Cos, 47, was only filming an episode for his TV show. After running the anchor leg of a 4x320-yard relay, Cosby gasped, "I feel great." As time-slot rival Magnum, P.I. found out, the guy's a competitor.
Cher (with two-toned hair), her fiancé, ABC Film exec Josh Donen (who used to have a beard) and her daughter, Chastity, 16, were among the first-nighters at the Hollywood premiere of Heaven Help Us. Their attendance was a dress rehearsal for Cher's own premiere next month in Mask, the Peter Bogdanovich film in which she is cast as the mother of a boy with an Elephant Man-like deformity.
