...is another man's miniseries. This week brings you the sleazequel to Lace, which opens, unfortunately, on the same night as a Hitchcock revival. Add in a live beauty parade (MISS Hollywood, 1985 on ABC Wednesday) and a live awards show (The 20th Academy of Country Music Awards on NBC Monday) and you can tell it's ratings sweeps month again.
