Picks and Pans Review: Spaceflight

PBS (Wednesday, May 8, 8 p.m. ET)

Judging from the so-so box office and ratings performances of Space and The Right Stuff, America is bored with the stars, the ones above, that is. But if you still get a little lump in your throat watching a rocket take off, don't miss this four-week PBS series, narrated by Martin Sheen, about the U.S. and Soviet space programs. It's well done.
