CBS (Wednesday, May 22, 9 p.m. ET)

You see a cold storage room for people, almost dead ones, who have been frozen stiff in the hope that they can later be brought back to life. Cryogenics, it's called. You see one of the freezers go on the fritz. You hear a technician utter the best line in the show: "He's thawing fast!" Michael (Celebrity) Beck defrosts, gets the new surgery he needed 10 years before, lives and takes over the family business again. But there's something different about him. He's kind of...cold. Beatrice Straight, as the ice cube's mom, and Paul Sorvino, as her pastor, add warmth to the show, which is never quite chilling enough to give you goose bumps. But still, Chiller is a cooling refresher, two hours of fun.
