Eurythmics
While "cute" is the last adjective anyone would ever have expected to apply to Annie Lennox, she certainly looks like a cuddly little bundle as she prances, bounces, wiggles and struts her way through this good-time video. The set is a cabaret that includes the standard video-cabaret scene extras (they look like the people who used to snap their fingers ecstatically and swoon at the jazz musicians who appeared on the old Playboy's Penthouse TV series). But near the end of the tune, actor Steven (Thief of Hearts) Bauer appears in time to play the boyfriend Lennox has such an enjoyable time rejecting. Previous Eurythmics videos have been entertaining in various ways, but none has the carefree, bemused atmosphere this one displays in abundance.
